RSS is good way to keep up to date with a mass of information quickly and easily and relatively - once you know how to subcribe to them- fuss free. I can see how they will be useful in the library world keeping apace with what is going on out there in library land because sometiimes we can seem so isolated behind the circulation desk.
I personally probably wouldn't use it at work being a part-timer i don't have a great deal of spare to sit down and access all this stuff.
