#22 Audiobooks (or "The end is in sight ")

E-books are a great alternative to pulling out the cd's or cassettes. They would be great for train travel but really i don't know that they would be better then the other option otherwise. Once again you have to have the technical knowhow and the hardware to be able to access it to make this an attractive alternative. Most of the time at OG it is the older generation who borrow Audio books and i may be a bit prejudice or is it ageist but i really can't see the greater percentage of them downloading audio books to thier ipod etc. as for the younger more clued in generation maybe they would use this facility but shouldn't they be learning how to read?
